{Blake, Senior 2014...Fall Session}

One of the cool things about being a photographer is that you can photograph your children at any moment...which comes in REALLY handy if you're taking Senior pictures.  Ginger wanted Blake to have pictures taken in each season, and of course, I'm always game, so here's a few of his Fall Session!

{Medley Family}

I'm glad the last fall session for 2013 was this family.  I have worked with April for several years and there is never a dull moment when she's around; and yesterday was no different!  I want to thank you all for such a fun afternoon!! Enjoy the sneak peek!

{Tyler, Senior 2014}

Tyler is like my daughter's other half. Same awesome sense of humor and same free-spirit.  Today I was lucky enough to try and capture that on film (well, compact flash if you must be technical)...although it was a challenge to keep Karena on task...poor Tyler tried so hard to keep a straight face!  Thanks guys for being such good sports in the wind and cold!
Here's your sneak peek, Tyler and Melissa, I hope you enjoy them!!

I almost forgot!  A HUGE shout out to Mr. Brittingham who was kind enough to lend us his cool truck for today's session (I have been eyeing this truck for about six months now, trying to find the courage to ask if I could borrow it)...and to my wonderful husband, who spent his afternoon making sure this truck got to the session and back to its owner in one piece!  Thank you, my love!!

{Thing 1 and Thing 2}

No, that's not their real names. My nephews are dressing as the Dr. Seuss characters for Halloween (hopefully my sister will send me pictures of them in costume, since she and I worked so hard making them!) and I thought it would make a cute title for their latest photo session.  I might add their session lasted all of about 15 minutes because toddlers generally do not sit well for photos :)

{Although you wouldn't guess it by JonJon's expression, Michael did not just pass gas}

{Probably one of my favorites from this morning}

{Sports Shots}

In the past year, I started working on action/sports photography (which is pretty sensible since both my children play sports).  It has been both challenging and rewarding at the same time to try and capture both the action and the personality of those playing the games (because, I'll admit, I love catching those candid shots of players, coaches, and even the fans).  Here are a few of my favorite shots from my son's soccer and my daughter's tennis matches.  Enjoy!!

(Yes, they played tennis in the rain)

{Blake, Senior 2014}

This is definitely a bittersweet post for me.  I have known Blake since before he was born.  He is two years older than my daughter, so it's a painful reminder that her senior pictures are just around the corner.  His mom and I have been best friends since rocks were formed...and she also happens to be the other half of BRAG photography.  We decided that Blake wouldn't show out so much if it were me behind the camera...so, yeah that worked for about the first four frames!
Thanks, guys for sweating with me...and swatting mosquitoes with me...and being crazy enough to ride in the back of Blake's truck with me :)

{At risk of being shot, I'm going to post this picture just because I love his face, peeking out from behind Ginger...that's such a sweet picture!}
