{Lauren and David}

This is technichally my next "catching up" post, but it's also about the wedding of one of my close friends.  Lauren and I have been friends for several years...yes...we'll leave it at "several".  A few years ago, I was so thrilled when she asked me to take newborn pictures of her son, and then his six-month pictures, and one-year pictures (you get the idea); and I was almost beside myself when she asked me to take pictures for her wedding, because she is one of the most fun people to be around, and I knew this was going to be a super-cool event.  I had no idea that she had chosen one of the most beautiful churches for her ceremony, and the neatest reception location we have been at so far...I mean, really, there were just oodles (yes, that is a word) of places there to snap pictures, and the day was perfect.  Warm, but not sweltering, too early for the mosquito swarms, just enough poofy clouds to make the sky pretty, and a little breeze...sigh.
We thought we'd died and gone to photographer heaven.

{Cord & Chelsea}

I have known Cord and his family nearly half my life, and it was truly an honor to be invited to capture Cord and Chelsea's special event.  After going to their venue before the wedding date, Ginger and I thought of some really cute pictures using the old buildings in the downtown area...and then it rained. Not like an isolated shower or two...like a constant, heavy downpour ALL. DAY. LONG...and it was COLD (like maybe 40 degrees).  Needless to say, we had to regroup and make do with what we were given.  Poor Chelsea nearly froze in some of these pictures, but she was a trooper through it all!
Thank you both for the adventure!!

{Brandi & Jacob}

   So, we've been waiting for spring to shoot my friend Brandi's "Save the Date" pictures with her fiance Jacob; however, Mother Nature had a few tricks up her sleeve...like winter. Finally, FINALLY today we had spring-like weather...and 30 mph winds.  I give major props to these two, they were troopers!  They were also two of the easiest people to shoot.  I like to capture couples' expressions of love during these kinds of sessions, and they made my job that much easier since I didn't have to prompt them to embrace or look lovingly at one another!
Brandi played softball in college and Jacob played baseball, so we thought it would be neat to incorporate that into their pictures...little did I know that we would have trouble finding an unoccupied baseball field on a Saturday afternoon (really, who knew?).
Enjoy the sneak peek!!!

Sierra & Sean

I don't think there could be a better way to spend a Saturday afternoon than taking pictures at a wedding.  Today we were honored to capture Sierra and Sean's "big day" at the Red Goose Celebration Hall in downtown Paragould.  I absolutely love this venue because there is no shortage of great backdrops for photographs...and it did not disappoint!  We had a lot of fun with this group, and luckily we were able to dodge rain showers and some passing cars for some pretty spectacular shots!
Sierra and Sean, I hope you enjoy this sneak peek!!

{Daniel & Cassie}

There is a lot to be said for organization...and patience.  We've seen plenty of weddings, but I don't think we have been at one that has run as calmly and smoothly as Cassie and Daniel's did today.  They are such an easy-going pair, and with every action, we could just feel the deep love they share.  Enjoy your sneak peek!!
