{Braden, Senior 2016}

I seriously cannot believe this young man will be graduating in eight months (and I know his mom is just dreading that day).  His mom has been one of my best friends for years.  She has been my cohort in crime, my confidant, and also my fellow Bret Michaels fan(atic); so, I was absolutely THRILLED that she asked me to capture her son's Senior pictures.  It was such a fun day, at one of my very favorite spots (even if there were some sketchy places...and gnats...and mosquitoes-again, sorry Abby!!)
Enjoy your sneak peek :)

{Adrienne, Senior 2015}

Adrienne has been a part of our lives (mostly Ginger's) for many years.  She is absolutely gorgeous, both inside and out, with an incredible fashion sense...and has been such a joy to photograph-always willing to try new things (like sitting on a rusty car hood, or laying down on the highway-don't worry, we watched for cars!)  Apologies for not posting these sooner!!

{Ashton, Senior 2015}

Oh, Where Has the Time Gone?

I promised myself in March that I wasn't going to get behind...again...but it seems like that's pretty much the story of my life.  2015 has been such a busy year, between a graduating senior, a new business venture for my husband (and a new role for me as his "admisitrative assistant/bookeeper/office manager), and just life in general.  I realized that in March I failed to finish out the posts of my seniors, and I apologize for those I missed!!  We'll just blame an incredibly busy schedule...that's better than blaming me. Or my age.

First, let's start with Ashton.  She is such a beautiful girl, and a great model to work with!  For those of y0u who follow this blog (which, of course, you must because you're reading this), you'll recognize her from the Marathon shoot we did a few summers  ago.  She is such a joy to photograph...and there's never a dull moment!!!

{Colton, Senior 2015}

Poor Colton hates pictures.  I mean, REALLY hates pictures; but he was such a good sport during his session, and we actually got a couple of real smiles from him...and
 we also had to pull his truck out of the mud (which is definitely a first for me-pulling a truck out of the mud during a senior session).  It was worth it, though, because he got a picture with his muddy truck (which was his overall goal), and everyone was happy.

{Baylee, Senior 2015}

Baylee has been one of my daughter's best friends since they met in 7th grade, while playing Junior Olympic volleyball together, and have been almost inseparable most of those years.  I also went to school with both of her parents, so it's safe to say that I know the family.  I have gotten the pleasure to watch Baylee grow and mature into a beautiful young woman, and I was so excited that she asked me to do her senior session!

(Couldn't help it. I had to post one of them together.)

BRAG photography offers Seasonal Sessions for our seniors...that means we will have a session in summer, fall, and winter (conditions permitting).  This year, we lucked out and had a pretty snow, no school, and some clear roads (and dedicated models!).  Baylee took advantage of the winter session, but somehow we failed to get a picture of her actually IN the snow (but it was COLD!!!).  Here are some of my favorites:

{Alec, Senior 2015}

Oh, what can I say about Alec?  He is like another of my children; partly because he and Karena fight like brother and sister, and partly because he and his family have been a part of our lives for the past four or five years.  I had so much fun during his session-there were several hilarious outtakes and a few photobombs from my daughter that won't be published, but trust me, they will make GREAT blackmail (or fodder for those senior memory slideshows).

A Little More Catching Up...

Most of you know that this is my daughter's Senior year, which entails a lot of activities (and a lot of tears), so I have neglected my poor, little blog; however, I intend to remedy that today.

I have had the pleasure of shooting several senior sessions this summer and fall, and even conned my daughter into a winter session. In sub-zero temperatures.  The following posts are some of my favorite photos from these senior sessions.  I hope you enjoy!
(no this is not from a senior session.  It's a picture I took this summer after a storm.  I needed a picture for this post, don't judge.)
