{Cooper's Newborn Pictures}

It always amazes me how quickly babies assume their personalities.  Some are quiet and docile, while others announce themselves with a flourish of trumpets.  I had the wonderful opportunity this afternoon to capture the spark of this little man's personality.  If today was any indication, Amanda and Corey, you are in for a wild ride!  Cooper is so alert and such a bundle of energy, he made my job that much more fun.  Thank you for sharing him with me for this moment, I hope you enjoy the sneak peek!

{Baby Michael}

I never get tired of taking baby pictures...and I am especially happy when they are my family!  I am so proud to welcome my new nephew, Michael Shane to the world, and I was so thrilled that my big sister (and wonderful brother-in-law) let me share this beautiful event in their lives.  I am so proud of them both and I have to say, she is the delivery room goddess! Total labor/delivery took less than five hours!!
{Michael weighed in at exactly 8 lbs...but not too thrilled with the scale!}

{Somewhat calmer now that he's under the warmer}

{Proud Mommy and Daddy with their new son}

{ I couldn't resist posting this picture.  Big brother Jon didn't really know what to think of his new brother, but his expression here cracks me up!!}

{He warmed up to baby brother pretty quickly, though!}

{Bret Michaels, Fort Smith}

Those of you who aren't familiar with "Hair Bands" of the 1980's and 1990's, you will not appreciate this post; however, those of you who grew up like I did, drooling over Poison, Bon Jovi, White Lion, and many others, please hold onto your hats (or whatever other article of clothing you choose here) as I present, a night with Bret Michaels from the band, Poison.  One of my best friends invited me to go with her to Neumeier's Rib Room (a really cool restaurant/bar) in Fort Smith, Arkansas to see the Bret Michaels Band.  I was taken back to my teen-age years, when I only wished that I could be 10 feet away from Bret Michaels, complete with screaming and being  giddy because he looked right at me...and don't tell me that he didn't, because I know that look was only for me...
